Originally from New Orleans, Ledisi was conceived and raised by an R&B Singer and a guitar player. Her step-dad was a drummer, so there was no doubt that Ledisi, raised around all this music, would turn out to be probably the most outstanding singer in the SF Bay Area! REALISTIC
The ensemble Realistic is on the cutting-edge of a newly emerging music scene: Live Drum N Bass. This music was developed by DJs during the last two decades and is now heard as part of a variety of musical genres including pop music, jazz, and commercial television sound tracks. Realistic is one of the few bands in the Bay Area to bring Drum N Bass beyond the single DJ performance by presenting a live quartet or quintet. SERGIO CAPUTO
Born in Rome, Italy, the musical career of singer/songwriter Sergio Caputo began in 1983 with the overnight success of his debut LP entitled Un Sabato Italiano (An Italian Saturday). With a unique style of jazz-infused pop paired with intriguing syncopated lyrics, Sergio's music defined an entirely new genre of musical and lyrical style that created an immediate sensation in the European pop music scene.
Sergio began his musical journey with roots firmly planted in jazz and Be-Bop while his literal background embraced beat poetry and lifestyles. more
